Toulouse Blagnac International Airport

Toulouse Blagnac International Airport is located approximately 5km from the city centre. It is France’s 4th busiest airport outside Paris and handles more than 6 million passengers each year.

The best way to get to and from the airport is by taking the metro to the Gare Matabiau station and from there, a 20 minute bus journey will take you to the terminal building. Buses run from 05:00 to 00:15 and run every 20 mins.

A taxi to or from the airport should cost around €22 during the day or €25 at night.

General Transport

Toulouse has a brand new driverless tram system that is split into four lines and covers most of the city. This is in addition to the extensive bus network. The main railway station, Gare de Toulouse Matabiau, connects Toulouse with the other major French cities especially the Languedoc towns such as Montauban, Saint-Sulpice, Carcassonne and Foix.
